The 2006
Georgia State Meet was a big
success. Even though only 28
Studes were judged, all
accounts were of a good time had
by all, the Studebaker
"sickness" was a
full-blown pandemic.
Many
participants were complimentary of
the hospitality room, the door
prizes, the trophies, and the
low-country boil at the banquet.
The work of the So.
Georgia Stude ladies cannot
go overlooked. Without their
tireless efforts, no one would
have gotten nearly as much
enjoyment from the event. Our
ladies worked like
Trojans keeping folks fed,
quenched, registered, and supplied
with an embarrassment
of riches in the door prize
department.
We appreciate
the photos provided by Matthew
Burnette, and Rick Courtier. Click

albums.
We send a
special thanks to Gordon Sheldon,
James Thornton, and Matthew
Burnette for assisting in the
judging. It's a job that few
people want, but is the heart of
why old car nuts drag or
drive their iconic iron long
distances in any weather!
Here
is the tally of the trophies from
Saturday's judging.
